About Us

AT EASE TEXAS IS AT THE HEART OF TWO CLOSE FRIENDS WHO JUST HAPPEN TO BE VETERANS AND MILITARY SPOUSES. THEY WANTED A PLACE FOR WOMEN TO CONNECT: FOR WOMEN MILITARY RELATED EXPERIENCE, BY WOMEN WITH MILITARY RELATED EXPERIENCE.

VISION

To create a thriving space where women of military experience and women in the local community find common ground and move beyond “thank you for your service” to “let’s serve together”.

What we Do

We engage and strengthen women who are envisioning their lives after service.

We encourage them through receipt of a connection box.

We embrace their journey through peer  groups.

We empower them through our program opportunities to ease their transition.

We equip them through training, networking, and leadership opportunities.

A Day At Ease

Events created to cultivate awareness and information that strengthens the voice of women within the local community while enjoying a day of relaxation, releasing and replenishment.

At Ease Social

Engagements created to decrease social anxiety and influence candid conversations with likeminded women in a relaxed atmosphere.

At Ease Weekend

Weekend worksop to “reclaim your time” of rest and mental clarity, reconnection with self, and future goals.

Woven Women Veteran

WoVeN is a nationwide network of peer support groups specifically for women. WoVeN connects women Veterans of all eras and service branches and empowers them with information, education, and resources to improve their quality of life.

At Ease Peer Training

An 8 hr evidence-based training course that facilitates the aunderstanding of peer support and its role in the community. Upon completion of the training you leave with the tools to participate in or lead a small group.

Veteran Spouse Resiliency Group - (V-SRG)

Veteran Spouse Resiliency Groups provide a safe space for veteran spouses to come together, listen, share stories, and lean on one another for support and guidance. The Veteran Spouse Resiliency Group (V-SRG) program aims to connect veteran spouses in Texas to their communities by providing peer support groups.

Connection Boxes

A service campaign of At Ease Tx, where we solicit non-perishable and monetary donations for women in transition (military, job, housing, life, etc.)

This project is our way of reminding women that they are not alone and there is a community of sisters, advocates and friends supporting them.

While you’re here, you’re invited to make a tax-deductible donation to support At Ease and our mission to create a safe space for women veterans to have conversations that matter.
